Next walk: Bewdley, 11 August 2019

In August, we will go on an exciting four mile walk with steam train return.

We will set off from Bewdley, walking alongside the river and through parkland to a kissing gate.

A small footbridge will take us up to Seckley Wood where we can take a break.

Leaving the woodland, we then continue onto Upper Arley, passing under the impressive Victoria Bridge and then taking a short walk uphill to Arley Station.

The station is lovingly preserved. It offers plenty of refreshments and a nice picnic area to enjoy them in while we wait for the steam train to take us back to Bewdley. Please note that charges apply to travel.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the train.

On our arrival back at Bewdley station, it’s only a short walk downhill back to our starting point.

Meet at the usual place or contact us for details on how to go to the start of the walk.

We are still collecting for Women’s Aid, and optional donations of 1£ (or more) will be welcome.
