Next walk: Alcester, 13 Sept 2026

On this easy 4mile walk, we will explore the charming little market town of Alcester. The beautiful route is flat with just a few slopes. It follows roadside pavements and grass meadow tracks. The walk includes two kissing gates with fence gaps for dogs and two footbridges with a metal stile either end. There may be sheep in the meadows so dogs must be kept on a lead.

Passing the Arrow Mill pub, we cross a main road towards the meadow, Holy Trinity Church and Oversley Mill before reaching the village of Alcester. Here you can admire the buildings and architecture as we head up to our lunch stop at St Nicolas church. Please remember to bring a packed lunch and something to sit on.

After our break, we follow the river and meadows back towards our starting point.
