October walk (9 Oct 2016) to Longdon Green

Join us for the Boot Women October walk to Longdon Green!

This is a circular walk, which takes us to the village of Upper Longon, and brings us back past the 18th century Longdon Hall (once part of the Bishops of Lichfield Estate).  The walk is about 5 miles, and takes us through a variety of paddocks, meadows and crop fields, with some lovely views throughout.  There are a number of stiles (a few of them ladder type), and one section takes us through Longdon Stud land, so probably best not to bring the dog.

The Red Lion will cater for everyone’s hot and cold drink choices at the end!

Remember to bring some lunch / drinks and something to sit on.
