November walk in aid of the White Ribbon campaign

Our next walk will be in aid of the White Ribbon campaign to stop male violence against women and girls.  Boot Women will be making a donation of £150 on White Ribbon Day (25th November). In addition, anyone wishing to make a personal donation can do so at the November walk.  We will also collect women’s and children’s clean used clothing for Women’s Aid at the November walk.

The walk will be a mostly flat 6.5 miles from Hanbury Wharf. It will include parts of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal as well as Piper’s Hill and the Archers’ inspiring Hanbury Church and Hall.

There will be some kissing gates and a couple of manageable sharp inclines.  As part of the walk is through fields, it could be muddy so be sure to wear appropriate footwear.

Remember to bring some lunch / drinks and something to sit on.

Meet at the usual place or contact us for details on how to go directly to the start of the walk.
