Upcoming walks

Please come join us for our autumn walks!

12 September: Cannock Chase

This will be a 5km walk around Brindley Heath. The path will be on tarmac, gravel and earth and can be slippery in places. It has one steep climb and descent but no stiles. We will cross a main road, so please take care. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a waterproof jacket in case of inclement weather.
We will take a break during the walk so bring something to eat and drink.

14 November: Bumble Hole Nature Centre

Our 3.4km walk will follow the Cut n Coal Trail around this former mining site. Now a conservation area,  our route will follow canal towpaths and public access footpaths that can be both muddy and slippy so sturdy footwear is advisable. Wrap up warm as the area is quite open. The trail is on fairly level well trodden ground with two medium gradient uphill sections.
As on all of our walks, we will stop for a break so bring something to eat and drink. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

Contact us for details on how to go to the start of the walks.
Please maintain sensible distances on the walks.

We are still collecting for Women’s Aid, and optional donations of 1£ (or more) will be welcome.
