Next walk: Malverns, 11 September 2022

We return to the stunning Malvern Hills for our September walk. Our route is a circular walk taking in Herefordshire Beacon and Swinyard Hill.

We’ll start by walking up to the summit of Herefordshire Beacon with its Iron Age hill-fort and spectacular views.
The walk continues southward via Millenium and Hangman’s Hills, before descending via the Silurian Pass towards Castlemorton Common. The walk then climbs steeply to Swinyard Hill, with 360′ views, then back northward via Giant’s Cave to the car park.
Although the walk involves quite a bit of uphill and downhill walking, the paths are clear and in good condition, with stone steps on the steepest sections.

Please wear suitable shoes/boots and remember to bring some lunch / drinks and something to sit on.

Well-behaved dogs are also welcome.

Contact us for details on how to go to the start of the walk.

We are still collecting for Women’s Aid, and optional donations of 1£ (or more) will be welcome.
