Our July walk is a varied 7.5km circular route through Sutton Park. Sutton Park has something for everyone: it offers lakes and streams, woods and open grassland. It’s a great natural escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Our walk is a mostly flat, lovely and relaxing trail across a natural setting.
We will start our route at Bracebridge pool.
There is access by public transport but it requires a 1.5mile walk to the start of our route. If you’re travelling by train, get off at either Butler’s Lane or Four Oaks. Buses X3 and X5 from Birmingham City Centre stop at Mere Green shops.
This is a nice walk for dogs.
The route can be muddy in parts so make sure you wear suitable shoes/boots.
We will end our walk at The Bracebridge pub and stop there for a drink. There will also be a lunch stop half-way through the walk so don’t forget to bring a sandwich.
Contact us for details on how to go to the start of the walk.
We are still collecting for Women’s Aid, and optional donations of £1 (or more) will be welcome – please bring cash, also for your mandatory £1 contribution to Boot Women’s admin costs.
