Next walk: Lickey Hills, 13 Feb 2022

Our February walk takes us to the delightful Lickey Hills, one of Birmingham’s most varied parks. Covering over 500 acres, it has a complex and interesting geology which has created a variety of habitats. These include woodlands, heathland and grassland, which are home to an incredible diversity of wildlife.

The walk is 5-7km long and has varying moderate inclines. The ground is uneven and can be very muddy. Walking boots are recommended.

We’ll finish at the Duck Pond Cafe, where good take-out coffee can be enjoyed.

Remember to bring some lunch / drinks and something to sit on.

Well behaved dogs are welcome if they can navigate stiles.

Contact us for details on how to go to the start of the walk.

We are still collecting for Women’s Aid, and optional donations of 1£ (or more) will be welcome.
